Henderson Stone Asset Management Ltd was set-up in 2018 to provide the highest standards of financial advice and to complement services offered through our sister firm Henderson Stone & Co Ltd.

With a head office in Glasgow, we offer comprehensive pension and investment advice throughout Scotland and the UK. Our experienced advisers offer face to face, online, or over the ‘phone meetings and are backed up by a dedicated support team, ensuring our clients enjoy a friendly, personalised service.

All advisers at Henderson Stone Asset Management participate in a programme of continuing professional development through our Friday Training & Development meetings.

Sam Henderson

Chartered Financial Planner

Sam is a Chartered Financial Planner (CII) with more than 40 years in financial services and heads up Henderson Stone Asset Management. His roles range from advising private and corporate clients to training and developing advisers.

Since ‘pension freedoms’ Sam has specialised in advising clients on planning for their retirement or reducing the number of hours they wish to work, with special emphasis on final salary transfer advice. This often blends into his other major area of focus which is IHT planning across generations for both business owners and private clients in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Sam is also founder and Director of Henderson Stone & Co Ltd.

Bill McCowie

Chartered Financial Planner

Bill is a Chartered Financial Planner (CII) and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry helping clients to manage their wealth and make the right decisions regarding their financial future.

Bill specialises in final salary pension transfers as well as full retirement planning advice (particularly at or near retirement) where the focus is on preserving wealth, inheritance tax (IHT) planning, trustee advice, investments and long term care planning. His clients include high-net worth individuals, lottery winners, small business owners and entrepreneurs.
